A California couples destination wedding at the idyllic Cornwell Manor
Alix & Max were the absolute dream to work with! We first met in California for a sunrise engagement shoot and ended up hanging out all morning, taking beautiful photos on El Matedore beach and sipping matcha tea on the Malibu pier.
Whilst studying togther in London, they made a weekend trip to the Cotswolds where their car broke down a stones throw from the picturesque Cornwell Manor. As they hunkered down waiting for recovery they had a few hours to chat and both admit, this is when they truly fell in love. Once engaged it only seemed fitting that this be the venue they book for their wedding day! They enlisted the help of Kerry Poulter, who planned an incredible three day celebration full of beautiful design and so much love!
The first day started with a welcome party in the apple orchard, guests were served delicious food from Ross & Ross Events whilst the first of many heartfelt toasts were made. On the wedding day Alix wore a custom Reem Acra gown with the most elegant pearl embellished cape, an ode to her Hollywood glamour heritage. After an emotional first look the couple tied the knot at sunset with an outdoor ceremony witnessed by their friends and family. They sunset light helped us create some incredible portraits with the day ending as guests partied the night away! On the final day a intimate Sofreh Aghd ceremony was held in the walled gardens...
